Honestly I'm glad that something like this exists. Hopefully, there will be someone some day who will be willing to show how to properly port characters.
Personally, I've already found a method of making and getting consistently high quality Mugen select portraits just from messing around. But I'm not sure if people would be interested in something like that. Considering that it requires having an art program, and the latest version of Fighter Factory.
Anyways, to make a simple note just in case you and or others aren't aware, in the past Notepad++ has had issues related to security. As they were hacked by state sponsored hackers.

The only alternative that I think could or would serve as a decent backup could be something like
Visual Studio Code. Which if I am not mistaken even has extensions for things like MUGEN. But I wouldn't be too sure. I've only been using Fighter Factory to edit files as of late. So take that with a grain of salt.
Anyways thanks OldGamer for trying to teach me the ropes back then. Even if I was quite lost then, and still am admittedly even now lol
