Here and eager to learn!

Hey, I'm OnmyoKrow! I play lots of fighting games and have been wanting to learn a 2D fighting game engine to make a personal project!
I enjoy competing and playing a lot of old and new titles and have been itching to apply what I've enjoyed into a system I can call my own.
My background and skill is mainly with drawing and animation so I really would appreciate pushes in the right direction to learn to code within IKEMEN GO!

Welcome! also man you gave me such an amazing idea. ill defintely make a category dedicated to ikemen coding. I would make sure it is a beginner-friendly learning path instead of a giant technical document lol

Thanks, I really appreciate it! I found this forum after floundering through youtube tutorials on how to install an already made screenpack but never HOW to make one. Lol

I have seen those resources! I've read the documentation of IKEMEN GO but I'm just more of a visual learner so I'm struggling with how to actually apply what's in the resources. I have specific questions but idk if its best in here or a different forum section. I would like to ask that with the visuals I wanna implement but i've unfortunately been under the weather so thats put a wrench in the HUD design time

ah ok understood, so you know the documentation but just need help implementing it no problem!
