This patched build increases the memory limit (RAM) from 2GB to 4GB on x64 platforms, allowing the use of larger characters and stages. Requires a 64-bit operating system.
Instructions : Backup the mugen.exe file in your MUGEN 1.1 folder, then replace it with this patched mugen.exe file.
This is NOT an optimized nor a faster build. Use this at your own risk, and only as a last resort if you experience difficulties related to memory heavy content. Use this build with OpenGL render mode for best results.

If you still run out of memory with this build, you may use additional options in the mugen.cfg file to decrease memory usage, in exchange for loading time.
For example, set UnloadSystem = 1 to free system.def data from memory whenever possible.
Set BufferedRead = 0.
If you can't use the OpenGL render mode, set Precache = 0.
