An absolute crisis is unfolding across the wider MUGEN community, and we need every single creator, collector, and archivist to mobilize immediately. Official notices have confirmed that uploader.jp and getuploader.com are officially shutting down their services on November 25, 2026, with all hosted data and uploaded files scheduled for complete deletion by 23:59 on that day.
This sudden termination represents a catastrophic blow to our scene. Over 30,000 individual uploaders are set to be wiped out in what can only be described as a Thanos-level event for MUGEN archival data. Countless irreplaceable characters, stages, screenpacks, patches, and technical resources that have accumulated over the years across thousands of active sub-domains are at immediate risk of vanishing forever if we do not act right now.
We cannot afford to sit back and watch years of community history disappear overnight. Mass downloading efforts are already underway using download managers, but the sheer volume of data means individual efforts alone will not be enough. If you have bookmarks, browser histories, or archives pointing to getuploader links, now is the time to prioritize backing them up, grab everything you possibly can, organize the files cleanly by folder, and share your mirrors with the community.
Let us pull together to preserve what we can before the deadline hits. Coordinate your downloading targets so we do not duplicate efforts, drop your links and backups in the forums, and let us protect the history of our scene together. I have attached the notepad file (that can be downloaded via mediafire), of getupload links that people can start downloading and re-hosting to https://mugen.doomjoshuaboy.com/ or https://mugenfreeforall.com/ or even, https://archive.org/I am also doing my part as well by making time to download from each, but can't do it without your help. please spread this around.
