Hi everyone. It’s been a while since the last announcement, but this one matters. so lately I couldn't help but notice a few things and I wanted to speak up on it in this said announcement for I feel as we are starting to forget what this site is / what it represents.
So, that being said let's get into it and simply put it:
This site exists for one reason: a drama-free, non-toxic, actually fun place to create, share, and talk MUGEN/IKEMEN. If you got treated badly somewhere else or feel as you weren't welcomed in the community prior, you’re welcome here. BUT that does not mean this is a no-rules zone.
And what I mean by this is the following:
1. Do not bring outside drama in. Old beef, screenshots from other sites, “let me tell y’all what so-and-so did over there” - leave it at the door. this should be very simple to follow because, if that person isn't doing it here then why should it matter?
2. Do not treat the forum like anything-goes. Posting whatever you want because “this place is chill” is how chill places die btw.
3. Do not start beef or throw stray shots at users who are here or people who used to be here. If it isn’t about the work, the engine, or helping somebody, it doesn’t belong.
We advertise DJB as a non-toxic alternative and that is staying the policy. getting banned from the forum that is drama-free is a wild look, don’t be that person.
You can still speak your mind about characters, engines, WIPs, requests, and ideas. You cannot use this space to settle scores.
If you see someone crossing that line, report it. Don’t turn the thread into a second fight. Staff will handle it.
If you can’t follow that, this forum simply isn’t for you. For everybody else: keep posting good stuff, keep it civil, and let’s stay the place people come when they’re tired of the circus. and enjoy a insta post from yoongi posting his cat tang have a great day!
