VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - ALL EYES ON ME
So after recent discussion, we've decided to provide official and more detailed clarification on forum/discord policy on off-site behavior & content.
We’ve received a few reports and questions lately about users’ activities outside the forum/Discord, so we’re posting this reminder of how we handle these situations.
General rule
What someone does in their free time, on other platforms, or in private is not automatically our problem. Drama, trolling, opinions, or legal adult content that stays off our site does not equal a ban here. We are not the internet police, and we do not ban people just because of outside disagreements or “iffy” fictional material.
Clear exceptions
We take the safety of our users seriously. The following will result in bans (including IP bans where appropriate)
Actual illegal activity involving real people, especially minors - grooming, sharing or soliciting real child sexual abuse material, etc.
Posting prohibited content on our forum or Discord (including anything that violates Discord/ToS or local laws).
Behavior that directly endangers other users on our platforms.
If someone is known to have engaged in real grooming or other serious crimes against real people, they are not welcome here. That is why cases like the one involving the underaged user who was documented engaging in grooming activity with other minors resulted in a permanent ban. Protecting real users (especially minors) is non-negotiable.
Fictional content
Consuming, creating, or discussing fictional drawings/characters (including ones that some people find objectionable) in private or on other sites is not something we police. and trust me I don't like that sort of content myself BUT we are not going to start banning adults for what they look at in their own time when it does not involve real children, real victims, or content posted on our platforms. *If the material is illegal in a specific user’s country, that is a matter for local law enforcement, not for us.
Bottom line
If you have evidence of actual grooming, real CSAM, or other serious illegal behavior that affects our community, report it to the staff with proof. We will review it. ALTHOUGH, do not use this as an excuse to dig up old drama or try to get people banned over drawings.
