"Ok so, this was something I was working on a year ago.The goal was to create a base that brought the best from MVC2 (its roster) and the CPS2 VS. games (the music and stages) something the people could use to add their characters, covering the lack of character mods for the real MVC2, all of this with a modern UI prioritizing visual consistency (this means all characters use Bengus art if possible and not random illustrations) aaand original music I composed for the characters that lacked CPS2-styled themes.
The game aimed to be a "MVC2.5" (hence the name Plus) for those who want to see that game with more content, basically. Gameplay-wise I modified OrochiKyo's tag system to play more like the MVC games, for instance you can tap Q or W two times to call the assist, keep either one of those buttons pressed to switch character and keep the two pressed to execute the team hyper combo.
But yeah, I focused on the UI and music mostly and the gameplay is all buggy lol. For now, I'm not willing to continue this project, but if anyone is interested on it, let me know!"
