I actually agree, I think it's because artists nowadays are afraid to take risks. and that well AI has taken over too, so some artists feel like they don't need to be creative anymore, and use AI in their songs too. because of this I really don't pay attention at all to mainstream music anymore. I mainly focus on what artists I liked for years and only them because they are the only ones I know that will and have taken risks before and that they try to do something either different or even old school with their music.

Personally, it's better this way because we should enjoy the old one again
