Joke/Satire (冗談)
Overview: Characters created primarily for humor, parody, or meta-commentary.
What to expect: These characters often ignore competitive integrity. You will encounter unpredictable mechanics, exaggerated visual gags, and non-standard damage routines. Because their "killing power" is often the punchline rather than a gameplay metric, they cannot be ranked.
Defeat Challenge (撃破挑戦)
Overview: High-tier characters designed specifically to stress-test other "God" tier characters.
What to expect: These characters are immune to common "Madness" level exploits. They serve as a benchmark; a character is typically considered "Defeat Challenge" quality only if it can withstand standard god-tier attacks and requires highly specialized, tailored countermeasures to be defeated.
Dragon
Overview: Malicious characters designed to damage the host computer.
What to expect: These represent the extreme end of the spectrum, utilizing routines to target core operating system components (like System32) or the Master Boot Record (MBR). While examples exist—notably by authors like Noxxy—they are strictly prohibited from public distribution due to the potential for severe hardware/software damage.
Whale
Overview: Characters that interact with the host system via external web browser hooks.
What to expect: These are highly advanced technical exploits. A "Whale" will use the user's web browser to stream victory videos or force the download and execution of external programs outside the M.U.G.E.N engine. They effectively bridge the gap between engine-internal logic and system-wide control.
