Welcome to the Commissions section! This category is for creators to offer paid services and community members to request commissions for MUGEN/IKEMEN-related work. Keep it professional, transparent, and drama-free.
Core Site Rules (Non-Negotiable)
- All final releases must be uploaded here for free (open-source). No selling finished resources on the site.
- Business transactions (payments, private files) can happen via site DMs or off-site (Discord, PayPal, etc.).
- Respect the drama-free vibe - no toxicity, public haggling, or personal attacks.
Accepting Commissions (Creators Offering Services)
- Services allowed: Custom sprites, animations, palettes, screenpacks, Lua coding, music integration, video editing, character concepts, etc.
- Use clear thread titles: "[Accepting Commissions] YourName - Sprites, Lua, Music"
- Include portfolio/examples (attach GIFs), services offered, general process, turnaround time, and contact info.
- Keep specific pricing in private DMs.
Requesting Commissions (Clients Seeking Work)
- Be clear and detailed about what you need (references, style, deadline, budget range).
- Use clear thread titles: "[Requesting Commission] Character Sprites - References Attached"
- Respect creators - don't lowball or demand free work in a paid section.
- Small test jobs or references are encouraged before big commitments.
General Commission Rules & Protections
- No stolen assets or low-effort rips - everything must be original or properly credited.
- Finished work must be released free on DJB (both sides agree upfront).
- Limit NSFW: Keep previews clean on the forum.
- Revisions: Clearly state how many are included in the agreement.
- Payments: 50% upfront is strongly recommended. Be professional — deliver what you promise.
- NO SCAMMING. C'mon now. Creators: deliver the work. Clients: pay as agreed. Scammers will be banned immediately.
- Reporting Scams / Issues: Use the Report button on any suspicious post, thread, or message. You can also DM staff directly with evidence.
Communication & Safety Tips
- Use **site DMs** if you prefer to stay on-platform for discussions and payments.
- Ask for references, small test pieces, or progress updates.
- Disputes: Try to resolve privately first. Bring clear evidence (screenshots, payment proofs) to staff if needed.
