Mugen Character - The Knight/Ghost

Character Info:
A mysterious vessel, silent with unknown motives from the game of the same name. Armed with Nail and Soul, they'll slash the way through to achieve his goal 

If you're wondering why this character has two names, the fandom often refers to The Knight as "Ghost", which is what another character calls them. I personally like calling him Ghost, however I  since it's a fanon thing (and it's also not a confirmed name, shame), you can easily change their name.

So if you would like to rename them as "The Knight", open the def file and on "Displayname", change "Ghost" to "The Knight" (or little ghost, do what you please. Just know they are not Hollow Knight btw.) and you're all set! That should have no impact on gameplay whatsoever.

Moveset and playstyle:
The Knight/Ghost's moves are based off the game, using his slashes in game, including the upper slash and down slash. Great slash can
also be used as a normal as well.
They are fully trained by the nailmasters, and can use the other two nail arts.
Soul(The power bar) affects his ability to use soul specials and hypers, be mindful!
He can use Focus to recharge his soul.

Also he has Grimmchild charm active, so Grimmchild is following Ghost around during the fight!


Specials:

Dash Slash - D, DF, F, x 
The Knight/Ghost will slash with speed towards their opponet

Cyclone Slash - D, DF, F, y
The Knight/Ghost will spin a few times with their nail out.
(You can move left or right a bit while spinning)

Focus - Hold a (Stops activating at 3000 power)
Hold a to regenerate power slowly. Yeah I know, this isn't how Focus works in game, but imagine how annoying it would be to
fight a character who can constantly regain their health. 

Soul Specials:

Vengeful Spirit - D, DB, B, x  (-50 Power) (Can be used in air)
The Knight/Ghost will launch a powerful spirit at his opponent


Desolate Dive - D, DB, B, y  (-50 Power) (Can be used in air)
The Knight/Ghost will dive down from the air, and smash into the ground.
(You can move left or right a bit while diving)

Sharp Shadow - Attack after dashing  (-50 Power) (Can be used in air)
The Knight/Ghost launch forward and pierce through their opponent.

Focus - A
Hold A to build up focus, reaches up 3000 power.

Helpers:

Quirrel - F, b (-100 power)
Quirrel will appear behind Ghost and vanish once more. He will then lock onto the opponent and slash through them.
He can't be hit but he deals no damage if you block, and takes time to be summoned again.

Grimmchild - B, b (-100 power) (Can be used in the air)
Grimmchild will shoot a small ball of flame at the opponent. 

Quick note, you can only have one helper attack at a time, so basically:
Quirrel won't be summoned when Grimmchild is attack
Grimmchild won't spit out a flame when Quirrel is active.


Hypers
Shade Soul - D, DF, F, x+y (Requires 1 power bar) (Can be used in air)
Similar to Vengeful Spirit, but more powerful, as well as longer.


Howling Wraiths - D, DB, B, x+y  (Requires 2 power bars)
Screaming, powerful wraiths above The Knight/Ghost, causes heavy damage and knocks opponents away.


Descending Dark - D, DF, F, y+z (Requires 2 power bars) (Can be used in the air)
The Knight dives down to the ground, opponents in the air will be towards them, then with the power of shade, they unleash another powerful quake into the opponent.

??? - D, DB, B, y+z (Requires Full ((3)) Power bars) (Can be used in the air)
Ghost slashes through the opponent and....

Well to tell you the truth, this move isn't added or ready yet. It requires a certain character as his teammate, and currently, he isn't made yet. Once he's made, this move will be usable in an update.

As for who that friend is, it's probably obvious who it is. If you need a hint, the character isn't from Hollow Knight.

Update Notes...

Ghost's moveset is completely renovated. - His normals are now on one button, and great slash is now a normal move.
Ghost can now summon Quirrel.
Grimmchild follows Ghost and can attack on command.
Fixed Ghost's Desolate Dive and Descending Dark so that the move can hit opponents lying on the ground
Fixed Ghost's spinning animations and falling face first on the ground.
Fixed Ghost's focus sound effect not ending when releasing the focus.
Intros now play for Ghost's turn as well as in survival when Ghost shows up.
Fixed the explods for falling on the ground being to be in sync (Why the heck did they depreciate postype?)
Fixed the Air Descending Dark not using the proper amount of power.
Soul Specials and Hypers in general should no longer give you power back.
Fixed explods not being removed on hit, being affected by color changes from other characters, and being better timed.
Adjusted damage for attacks, and fixed the normal attacks so that they combo better.
