Hello everyone. Thanks for downloading my Supergirl. This version comes with a bunch of changes, both sprite-wise and gameplay-wise. I hope that you'll enjoy her. :)

Despite the similar looks, this version of Supergirl is based on her cartoon incarnation, Kara In-Ze, not Linda Danvers from the comics. If you don't find this Supergirl to be comic-accurate, this is likely the reason why.

This character comes with versions for both Mugen 1.0 and WinMugen.

- Special winposes against Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and Green Lantern John Stewart.
- Separate versions for Mugen 1.0 (now the default) and WinMugen (supergirl_win.def).

- New and improved sprites.
- Additional effects for Mugen 1.0 version.
- Additional animations for Demitri's Midnight Bliss, Anakaris's Royal Judgement and such (see "community standards.txt" for complete list).
- Some move and balance changes and lots and lots of small fixes.

- More audible winquotes.
- Air-throw added.
- Rebalanced some of her attacks.
- AI is more willing to use aerial attacks.

Supergirl is a 6 button character.

d, u (or any two kicks)          - High-jump
any two punches                  - Fall recovery
f, f                             - Forward Dash
b, b                             - Back Dash

f/b + HP (close) (also in air)   - Throw

S                                - Taunt

d + HK (air only)                - Heel Drop

Holding "f" or "b" while getting up makes Supergirl roll to the specified direction.

Pressing any two punches while guarding a hit will make Supergirl push away her opponent.

	Supergirl rushes forward and delivers a hard punch. 3 versions.

d, df, f, P (air only)                   - Flying Punch
	Supergirl flies forward with her fists extended.

d, db, b, P  (also in air)               - Heat Vision
	Basic beam attack from her eyes (3 directions on the ground, diagonally downward in the air).

f, d, df, K                              - Rising Supergirl
	Supergirl dashes upward, tackling opponents in her way.
	Can be canceled into "Flip Kick", otherwise she will automatically perform the "Dive Kick". 3 versions.

b + K (during "Rising Supergirl" only)   - Flip Kick
	Graceful aerial maneuver. 3 versions.		

d, df, f, K (air only)                   - Dive Kick
	Supergirl delivers a mighty kick from above.

d, db, b, KK (also in air)               - Flight
	Flying constantly drains your power. Requires at least 1/3 powerbar to be activated.
	Reuse the command to stop flying. Some specials will also cancel flight.

d, df, f, PP                             - Argoan Fury
	Supergirl rushes towards her opponent and attempts a combo which she finishes off with a mighty Heat Vision.

d, df, f, PP (air only)                  - Air Argoan Fury
	Similar to its grounded cousin above. Has less range, though.

d, db, b, PP (chargeable)                - Mighty Ground Pound
	Supergirl delivers a mighty punch to the ground with devastating results. Hold add least one "P" to charge the punch for massive damage.

--==      F.A.Q.      ==--

Q: Why did you use the Linda Danvers costume instead of the more iconic blue and red (or any other) costume?
A: Mostly because of personal preference. Also, when I started working on Supergirl, other people also expressed interest in making their own versions of her (usually using her more classical outfits), so that's all the more reason to do something different.

Q: Why not just make Linda Danvers then?
A: This mostly has to do with the fact that I'm surprisingly not much of a comicbook reader. I'm more familiar with the cartoon series, so that's what this character is based on.

Q: Why no super/freeze breath?
A: As far as I know, she has never used those abilities in the show, so that's why she doesn't use them here, either.

Q: Can I use your sprites to create my own Supergirl (or use them as a base for other Mugen characters)?
A: Sure. I'd appreciate being mentioned in the credits, though.
