AI Patch for Iceman by Splode
AI Patch created by DaMarioMemer

Patching another one of Splode's MVC type characters. Went with Iceman since I was interested in what his kit had. He plays MVC like but is based off of X-Men: Children of the Atom. Iceman has same combo rules as Splode's other MVC type creations and other things like the recover roll and advanced guard. Iceman's kit is fairly limited, only really having three specials and two level one hypers. two specials if you don't count the ice ball install. Like my other AI's for Splode's work, I gave Iceman a fast paced AI that is fairly aggressive, using his fast normals to apply pressure while also going for some more risky setups with his specials. Ice Boulder and Ice Beam are two risky specials to use in neutral due to how unsafe they are, but are fairly rewarding if they do connect as they put Iceman in a pretty advantageous position even if they trade. Not needing contact for cancelling specials into hypers REALLY helps iceman here as he can cancel Ice Boulder into Arctic Attack for good neutral pressure. Overall, I designed Iceman's AI to use his great frame data and pressure to advantage, while also using specials and hypers as mix-ups in neutral.

AI Configuration Settings:
- Auto AI
- AI Level
- Advanced Guard Settings
- Rate of Arctic Attack over Avalanche during Freeze Combo
- Rate of Avalanche after Launcher

Pros:
- Good movement as you'd expect from Splode's MVC style. While his back dash cannot be crouch cancelled, his run can which helps him out a lot.
- Great normals that are very fast. Iceman's normals are all very fast and pretty much cover most vital options. Long ranges, good hitboxes, anti-airs, fast frame data and can combo into each other.
- Freeze grab is AMAZING. Frame one and gives Iceman a free launcher or Hyper.
- Good hypers. Arctic attack is a great neutral tool and works in more combos compared to Avalanche, but can be a bit RNG dependent. While Avalanche has less combo setups, but more damage potential depending on the match-up.
Cons:
- Limited moveset. As I stated, Iceman has 3 specials (Only 2 are actually attacks) and 2 Level 1 hypers.
- Guard combos can be a bit risky sometimes as Iceman doesn't have too many attacks that are truly safe, instead relying on Mix-ups or spacing.
- Launcher's Horizontal Hitbox is fairly small.
