I. About this Alien

1. What the hell is that shit?!

According to Sam Fisher it's a Rox Howard's Secret Weapon.

In fact, this is one of Most_Mysterious most well known creations. Feared and loathed throughout the MUGEN community for his massive destructive power and cheap AI.

This update is a 2007 The_None Edition that gives few minor tweaks to the character.

II. About Mugen OTW

1. Instalation

Unpack everything in chars/otw2007 folder, even if there's another otw2007 folder.

Then add the following line somewhere in select.def

otw2007,random,ORDER=1;

2. Gameplay

That's a boss char. He can't guard nor recovery while falling, but some of his attacks are unguardable. Also, the "thing" commands also airstrikes......

3. Movelist

Initially, I wasn't supposed to show commands of the movelist since he's a boss char. Kamek, however, found him also a quite fun (if not cheap) char to play, so then...the commands are listed as well....

-Explosive golf tee strike	: A
A golf tee falls onto the position set by the crosshair. It's explosion is unguardable.

-Mine strike			: B
Above, but drops mines instead.

-Crane attack			: C
The now infamous attack that spawns a crane that picks the opponent up and droping him/her from 20 feets high, causing MASSIVE DAMAGE LOL.

-Heads from hell		: QCB->X/Y/Z
Just some random attack (Most_Mysterious doesn't seem to have ideas for the special at the time). A button determines the pattern.

-Large Skull			: QCF->X/Y/Z
OTW Jumps and lands on the head inflicting massive Earthquake.

-Shrimp Bus			: QCF->X+Y/Y+Z
Another infamous attack. Here comes teh unblockable bus (or something even else.... there's three possibilities)!

-Armageddon			: QCB->X+Y/Y+Z
Multiple golf tee strikes in random positions

-MOST USELESS MOVE EVAR		: B,B
Self-explanatory

4. Graphics

OTW is a hi-res character. To use the potential of hi-res graphics, find those following parms in data/mugen.cfg and change to:

Width  = 640
Height = 480

DoubleRes = 4

5. Changes from the original version

-Damage dampender
-Few moves weakened a bit
-Specials have now three versions
-Fade effects
-Modified stance and walking animations
-Modified headbutt
-Modified juggle points
-Juggle points now apply to jumping light attack and heads from hell.
-Sometimes, something comes out instead of a shrimp bus.
-Airstrikers and crane no longer accesible before the fight even started

6. Combos

All obtained without using striker attacks. Tested on Tetsu

-Jump medium attack->standing medium attack->light large skull (four hits, 119 damage not counding the fall damage after the light skull, resulting in 159)

-Light Large Skull->standing light attack->a-a heads from hell->standing medium attack->crouching hard attack (five hits, 168 damage)

-Jump medium attack->standing heavy attack->medium large skull->jump heavy attack (must be cornered, five hits, 135 damage)

-Jump medium attack->standing medium attack->light large skull->crouching medium attack->crouching heavy attack (six hits, 196 damage)

-Jump medium attack->standing medium attack->light large skull->standing light attack->a-a heads from hell (fifteen hits, 175 damage)

-Jump medium attack->standing medium attack->throw (three hits, 213 damage)
(Yes, you CAN COMBO INTO throws. Of course, comboed throws are still guardable, only stand alone isn't)

-Shrimp bus->(at certain moment)jump light attack->jump medium attack->jump heavy attack (eight hits, 405 damage)



III. The progress

He is 99% complete

Whats missing:
- Intro and ending storyboards (bit redundant, since it's a boss char)
- BugFixes
- Everything that i forgot to list...

Known bugs:
- The grapple seems to be sometimes buggy
- The Hitbox of the original Shrimp bus only covers a quater of the sprite. At least it makes things easier, however, so I've left it as it is.
