Basic Controls:


Mugen Defaults

A = light kick
B = medium kick
C = heavy kick
X = light punch
Y = medium punch
Z = heavy punch


Abilities:

forwardforward - Forward Dash
backback - Backwards Dash

(Hold) up-back / up / up-right - Jump
(Tap) up-back / up / up-right - Hop
down & (Hold) up-back / up / up-right - Super Jump
down & (Tap) up-back / up / up-right - Hyper Hop

(While on the ground) back or forward & any button - Ground Recovery
(While guarding an attack) forwardtwo punch buttons- Zero Counter (Costs 1 level of the Power Bar)

back or forward & heavy punch or heavy kick - Throw
Characters being thrown by Mewtwo can Throw Tech by holding back or forward and pressing any button at the beginning of the grab. Teching throws halves their damage and causes you to recover faster.

Chain Combo

Mewtwo can cancel normal attacks into sucessivley stronger normals, skipping recovery time. Punches can also be chained into kicks of the same strength, but not vice versa.
For example, valid chains include:

light kickmedium punchheavy punch
light kickmedium kickheavy kick
or light punch light kickmedium punchheavy punch

Chain Combos cannot be cancelled into Special Moves.

Command Normals:

Special Attacks:

quarter circle forwardpunch - High Shadow Ball
quarter circle forwardkick - Low Shadow Ball
    (Shadow Ball can be charged for more damage.)

quarter circle forwardpunch (in air) - Electro Ball
half circle backpunch - Electro Ball (Standing)
forward, down, down-forwardkick - Psycho Cutter

All Special Attacks can become EX Moves by pressing two punches or kicks as required. EX Moves cost 20% of the Power Bar, deal more damage and have altered properties compared to regular Special Moves.

Super Combos:

Cost 1 level of the Power Bar:
quarter circle forwardquarter circle forwardpunch - Tri Punch
half circle back + forwardkick - Psyshock

Costs 2 levels:
quarter circle back half circle forwardpunch - Psybeam

For the cost of 1 extra level of the Power Bar, Supercombos can be cancelled into during Special Attacks

Palettes:

Additional colour schemes for Mewtwo can be added by changing the values of ACT1 - 12 in Mewtwo.def. Refer to the palette guide image for all the available colours, or create your own using the template palette.
