AI Patch for Quetzalcoatl_88's Juan
AI Patch Created by DaMarioMemer

A very old MUGEN Character with a LOT of jank to him. Not as much compared to Pepito but it's still noticeably there. With a few frame one moves, weirdly coded grabs and so on. However I wanted to Patch this fella, well honestly just for the fun of it. He has a lot of personality throughout his kit and is overall pretty wacky with what he can do. I also got a bit of inspiration from Lexinton Avenue III who patched Pepito. Juan is no where NEAR as strong as Pepito. So I decided to focus on making his AI show off a lot of his kit while also making him do a few wacky stuff as well.

Available Settings:
- Auto AI
- AI Level
- Random Chances for Bong Projectile, Bodyslam, No more Stoners and his assists

Changes this patch adds:
- A few rising moves such as Road Stoner and Screwdriver kick are now considered aerial moves so Juan doesn't get stuck in the air.

Pros:
- Has an amazing projectile in the form of his giant smoke cloud. Relatively fast startup for a massive projectile that forces a knockdown. Good to setup for Juan to get a taunt in.
- A lot of frame one moves. Screwdriver kick, air dash and space coke are notable examples. Also helps his combo game out a lot since all of his normals are plus on hit.
- Decent combo game all things considered. His standing and aerial normals can be chained and work as expected. Aerial normals are especially good for his screwdriver kick combos
- Taunt is a viable neutral tool as it's Juan's best way of gaining power, getting half a bar at the start of the taunt. Juan has to condition to be able to set this up and his best options are usually just shooting a Smoke Cloud and doing it or sending out Pepito since he his attack sends the opponent flying in the air.
- For some reason, Quetzalcoatl made it so that Juan cannot get hit during his hitrecover states. This seems fully intentional too since it's consistent throughout his get hit anims. Meaning that Juan is significantly harder to combo on the ground.
Cons:
- Crouching normals cannot be chained but they do still have combos thanks to Juan's frame one moves.
- No lows :[
- Grabs whiff on crouch due to using standing light punch's hitbox.
- Is forced into this roll everytime he gets up. This can be good sometimes but more likely than not he ends up putting himself in a disadvantageous position in the corner.
